Joe and Laura have been CAL-RODS members for around 5 years with a short hiatus in the middle. Joe bought his car 5 years ago from our favorite dealer Charlie “T” (another satisfied customer).
Joe has done some upgrades and put in a new trannie.
Joe was also part of the team that got the original CAL-RODS web site up and running; he's a bit of a techie.
Joe and Laura drive their car whenever they get a chance and they always drive to the CAL-RODS meetings, so check it out before you come into the meeting. The car is a real driver with air conditioning, smooth ride, and no problems They have gone on several vacations with the 46 Ford including 600 & 800 mile runs. The last long trip was to Hearst Castle with a stop off in Arroyo Grande for a car show. Thanks to Joe and Laura for being in the CAL-RODS. The more beautiful cars we have the better.
One last thing; Joe wants to let all the Ford guys know that the Chevy engine was in the car when he bought it.
