This month’s featured car is a nice 1947 Ford, 2-door Sedan belonging to Bill and Aileen Dowling.

The red paint job is accentuated by great looking yellow flames.  (Note:  I’m partial to red cars with yellow flames).

Bill previously owned a great looking ’57 Chevy pickup, but the truck didn’t have enough room to haul his grandkids around, so the sedan was the perfect answer.

The sedan was previously owned by Vic Cunnyngham. Vic liked the looks of Bill’s truck and Bill liked the looks of the sedan, as well as the extra room, so a trade was made.

You can see Bill’s car at many local car shows. This is another fine example of the stable of great CAL-RODS cars.
