Bill purchased the 57 Chevy truck in pieces in 2010.  He took the pieces to RRC Fabrication in Montclair where they did all the fabrication and put the parts together.  They also added 4-wheel power disc brakes, power steering, air condition, and air ride suspension.

After the fabrication was completed, the truck was disassembled, and the suspension and frame were powdered coated, and the body and bed painted.  The two-tone paint scheme gives it a unique look and sets it apart from the crowd.  A Toyota front seat was fitted in the cab to provide 3-across seating, plus a console.

The finished truck made its debut at the CAL-RODS picnic in May 2014, where it got many compliments.  However, just to show Bill who the boss is, it refused to start at the end of the day (fuel pump problem).

This ’57 chevy is a great looking truck.  Another fine member of the long list of outstanding CAL-RODS rides.
