Hi Everybody…I tried to do something a little different this month, which as you know June is the Zodiac sign for the Gemini twins. How many car clubs can boast they have two members with DeLoreans as their future classics? The Cal-Rods can! Doug Bithell, a member since 2000, and Bert Middleton, a member since 1998, both own a beautiful DeLorean.

Doug’s car is a 1981. It was bought new by his cousin Gordon Bithell. Several years later Doug purchased the car from Gordon and kept it in the family. Doug’s car has 60,000 miles on it. The exterior and interior have been refurbished. The engine and trans have been rebuilt and it is pretty much a totally stock DeLorean

Bert’s car is also a 1981. He has owned the car since 1982 and is the second owner. The car has only 18,000 miles on it. He did a lot of work on the outside including headlight covers, front air dam, rear bumper stainless letters and rear wing. All components were built by Bert.
